The Teenage Republicans discuss political issues, candidates, and elections. In recent years, the club has engaged in debates with the Young Democrats Club, canvassed and worked phone banks in electoral campaigns, brought toys to ill children at LSUHSC, raised money for the American Cancer Society, sponsored lectures by Congressman Jim McCrery, written Christmas cards to our soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and sent delegates to the state Teenage Republicans' convention in Baton Rouge. Membership is open to all students, and the dues are $5 per year. The club participates in the Homecoming Picnic and other activities and hosts a social event involving food at the end of each school year. Meetings are on the 1st Wednesday during Activity Period in C-7.
